Angela's Signature Sugar Cookies

Finally!  I've teased you all before with pictures of these yummy sugar cookies my sister makes for every holiday!  If you like the taste of almond extract, you'll love these sugar cookies!

Here's the recipe:
1 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
3 oz cream cheese softened
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg yolk
2 and 1/4 cups flour

Mix together butter, cream chhese and sugar.  Then add the vanilla, almond extract, salt and egg.  Last, mix in the flour.  Wrap dough in plastic wrap.  Refridgerate at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.  Roll out dough, cut, bake at 375 for 7-10 minutes.

Frosting:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 tsp light corn syrup
1 tsp almond extract

Mix together, adjust/add more powdered sugar if you prefer it stiffer.  *Use stiffer frosting for outlining.

ENJOY!!

Thanks Ang! ;)
